Should cheerleaders be exempted from a school dress code?

I don't think so, because other people have to follow the dress code, so why should the cheerleaders be exempted? Most cheerleading uniforms fit the dress code anyways. If they can't wear it at school, they shouldn't be able to wear it at the school uniform. I think that the school should have checked out the outfits before they payed for them, this way they wouldn't have to worry about it.
