Is the "Resident Evil" knife and gun too realistic?

I think that the gun and knife are too realistic. I don't think that the person should have to do the actual actions of killing someone. I think that it should just be pushing the buttons on the remote. I don't think that the way the people can play it is right. The violence is no longer in the controller, but in the person who is doing the controlling. I don't think that the people who are playing it are going to become more violent, I just don't like the fact that the person has to do the actual action.
