Do you think that it was correct that he was taken away from his family or was this an inappropriate move by the government?
I think that it was an appropriate response because it is physical abuse. The child had a lot of risk factors that could have put his life in danger if he wasn't helped. I think that it was right to put him into foster care. I think that it is nice how they are working with the child and the family to reunite them again.
I completely agree, I think that a mother who could do that to their child obviously does not love them. I think that if a mother did love her child, she would not let him get to that weight and would have him do physical actives. But I think foster care was to much, in my opinion the boy should have went to a family members house. At least he would be able to be around family, being away from his mom who would let him eat zebra cakes all day long would be hard.
