Do you agree with James Harrison making his kids return their participation trophy?
I agree with what he wants to do for his kids. I believe that it is wrong for a person, or child in this case, to expect to get an award for everything. If a child does something and doesn't get an award, I think that it will help the children become stronger and work even harder the next time so they can get an award for it. I believe that getting an award, prize, any sort of incentive has to be earned.
I agree with your post. Children expect too much nowadays, I feel like.. And I feel like children will start working harder for what they truly want if trophies weren't always handed out.
